Endpoints serve as the 'clocking terminal'. This is where on a day-to-day basis system users will scan to confirm their attendance. Endpoints are available in two forms, the Software Endpoint, and the Interactive Endpoint. The endpoints can be customised to display your own corporate logo or any other image.
This is installed on a client machine, usually alongside the enrolment software and the data engine. This option keeps costs to a minimum and often suits smaller sites with a single entry / exit point. It is easy to install and can run in the background whilst performing other task on the laptop / computer.
Interactive endpoints are used on larger systems where you may have employees entering and exiting from various parts of a site. They can be deployed almost anywhere and can be set up as individual 'zones'. Unlike the software end point, they do not interrupt work on a client machine as they are standalone units.
